We’re heading right into spring here in SW Ontario with things popping up in the gardens! Between prepping walls in the master bedroom, I spent one morning outside clearing out some of the gardens and revealing some green! I was thrilled to see that there were some early blooms on my treasured lungwort.
I’m also busy prepping the walls in our master bedroom – it’s been a big job after peeling wallpaper from the 1980’s, it turned out that the installers must have used cement to adhere it. I literally had to take a scraper and go over every inch of the walls to remove the sticky glue. The priming is done and
we I am ready to put some colour on today!! We’re going really neutral in this bedroom, so I went with BM Natural Linen.
Besides the lungwort in the garden, it’s still pretty dull looking out there, so I gathered together some faux forsythia and plunked them into a galvanized bucket for SOME colour in the garden. Here’s some other ways I use faux forsythia to add a bit of early spring decor inside and out! 6 Ways to Use Faux Forsythia in Your Spring Decor
I hope you’re having a wonderful week. Today is the first day of spring, so it’s only going to get warmer and prettier out there!! Now on to the party!
