Today's Weather and the All Star Block Party

After all my belly aching last week about the cold and snow, this week we've had balmy temperatures and rain. This morning I woke up to 50F and promptly opened some windows. Nothing like opening windows in January in Canada. Sadly, it will be shortlived and we'll be back to freezing temps by the weekend. Ah, winter in Canada. Gotta love it!!

The re-used drawer trend seems to be everywhere lately. Claire at The Rustic Pig shows us how to create our own drawer/pillowbox.

 

I'm trying to grow my hair (most specifically my bangs) and am always looking for more stylish "grown up" ways to hold my hair back. Debi from Adorned from Above created these unique and stylish pony tail holders from buttons. Head on over to see how easy this project was to make.
