And more specifically, the Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap hosted by Love and Olive Oil and The Little Kitchen, two terrific food blogs that you should check out even if you’re not a foodie.
In it’s second year, it’s an old fashioned cookie exchange done the new fashioned cyber way as you are matched with 3 other bloggers who each send 1 dozen cookies to each other. So far there are over 450 bloggers registered and TODAY IS THE DEADLINE TO REGISTER.

The girls at Love and Olive Oil and The Little Kitchen do everything to make this fun – finding matches for you (they even found 3 Canadian bloggers for me to swap with), helping you with packing hints so your cookies don’t get crushed and new this year, labels and tags for your cookies to make shipping them easier.
This is my entry from last year, Cinnamon Stars. The biggest challenge is to make something packable and finding creative ways to pack them up. That’s half the fun, by the way. You can check out the recipe for these stars here
I love to bake. I love to especially love to bake for Christmas. I also love a challenge. I like to try new recipes and meet new people. And the Great Food Bloggers Cookie Exchange does all those things. Last year, I linked up with 3 great Canadian bloggers and am still in touch with Eri from It All Tastes Greek to Me.
So if you’re looking for some easy Christmas fun, would love to receive some great cookies in the mail and meet new bloggers, head over to Love and Olive Oil or The Little Kitchen to sign up TODAY.
