My New Spring Coat - Wordless Wednesdays
Not me. I don't have a new spring coat. But the goldfinches visiting our feeders certainly do.
Back in March, they were starting to "yellow up", but it's nothing compared to the bright gold coats the males are sporting these days.

So beautiful...it's always a shocking sight, after you've gotten so used to their somewhat faded winter appearance.
Don't you just love goldfinches? I think they are the most charming little birds. I love when an indigo bunting visits our yard and you spot it at the feeder with the goldfinches. Yellow and blue never looked so good together!
