With the snow gone and my end of February birthday over, my thoughts are turning to spring and ways to spruce things up around here. Pinterest and blogland are filled with wonderful ideas. So with a little time
wasted spent last night, I came up with some inspiring ideas I wanted to share with you today as we head into our first weekend in March.
Rachel from AlpahMom made this spring awesome and easy cherry blossom print using the bottom of a soda bottle. Ingenious. I just love this idea. Would be a great craft for kids to do too. So easy and beautiful.
Tristin and Sharon from Two Girls Being Crafty came up with this terrific project using scrapbook papers leaves to create a lovely spring tree. Each year I cut birch branches and decorate them with little tissue paper flowers in honour of my ex mother-in-law – it’s a Swedish tradition. But I may just have to make two trees this year because of this neat idea.
This is my favorite post of the week. It’s a sad post but heartfelt and yet gives us something beautiful at the same time. Shelly created this amazing chair turned planter in honour of a dear friend gone too early. Check it out at A Little Bit of Shizz.
