It's officially Christmas here in Tillsonburg thanks to the annual Tillsonburg Christmas Festival and the Down Home Christmas craft show, which is where I spent my weekend. This show has been ongoing every Christmas for the past 27 years and features artisans and crafters from around Southern Ontario and particularly some local talent.
One of the great things about a craft show is that you get to meet so many talented young people who are creating some new and amazing things. I'm always inspired by the talent out there and wanted to showcase a few of them.
One of these talented people is Kelli Norton who is the creator of charliebear baby and toddler care products. Kelli was busy sewing at her booth to try and keep up with the demand. She had sold out of a number of items such as the sweet pant huggers you see below. Essentially a velcro strap to "hug" the gaps at the back of little ones pants stopping them from falling down as they play. Ingenious! She also makes nursing covers, diapers clutches and diaper sacs - all individually created for girls or boys. You can shop online at www.charliebearbaby.com
